Wink

I'm not sure that any of these places rival The Olive Garden.

Italian RM (i.e. food snob) + loves Buca = Must be good italian.

Anyway... I will echo Ute's report of extended family members with actual "in country" experience who love Buca...

I have a couple of favorites. In the downtown area, Cinnegrille is fabulous. It is also a kinda Utah celebrity hotspot. Rick Majerus, Jon Huntsman, Frank Layden, Rocky Anderson have all frequented there.

In Holladay, Gepettos is also very good. I concur with Mormon Red Death on Al Fornos (though I think I have called it by the name 'El pornos' every single time I have mentioned it to someone...yes, I know, I am not very funny but that name always stick) which is very tasty as well.
