Please don't put words in my mouth. The members are great not the P word. As in a lot of scenarios, the few get the notice.

I saw a poll that indicated the #1 reason self-proclaimed evangelicals wouldn't vote for a Mormon was because the LDS Church claims to be the one true Christian church.

I was not so concerned about the word as the idea I thought most members were of the arrogant attitude. I think it is the minority.

However, that minority can be pretty vocal and polarizing. I call them the "best and brightest go to BYU" group. However, I would understand someone else referring to them as pricks.

That's the brass tacks behind the hatred towards LDS. We call ourselves right and everyone else wrong. Yeah, the Catholics do it. And the Christians kinda do it. And the other groups like JW and 7th Day do it. But we do it more obviously and aggressively than everyone else.

I wouldn't blame this on BYU or LDS in Utah. Growing up outside of Utah in a land where BYU was mostly hated by the ward members, that attitude of we have to be better than everyone else to prove the Mormon church is true was loud and clear.

Another classic case of Santos hyperbole.

Why is it hyperbole, because he disagrees with you. Use this for your link as to why you are considered to take extreme positions.

Or a classic Indy hit and run technique.
