Patrick Kennedy slides
Not exactly the first Kennedy to do so, either. The police supervisor doesn't let his guys give Patrick a sobriety test so there is no proof of anything. We just to have to take his(Patrick's) word for it. As far as the law is concerned, he is going to SKATE!
http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/05/...ent/index.html My favorite quote is provided by none other than Ted Kennedy: "All of us in the family admire his courage in speaking publicly about very personal issues and fully support his decision to seek treatment," the Massachusetts Democrat said. "He has taken full responsibility for events that occurred." Yes Ted, lets talk about responsibility.

At some point, shouldn't darwinism take care of these morons? Apparently alcoholism runs with politics in the kenedy blood. Shouldn't they start killing themselves off before too long?

I guess the fun twist on this is that he said the drugs messed him up and he claimed he was on the way to vote on a bill -- at 3AM. But you can't arrest a congressman on his way to vote, so that helps him slide.
What percent of politicians frequently use their power in a corrupt way?
