That's it, Tex. You nailed it. Palin's views on the powers of the VP and her belief that those powers may be expanded in the discretion of the VP are the equivalent of her pronunciation of Alaska.

Good insight.

That's hilarious how you keep bringing that up. As if I (and all the other Palin detractors) are focused solely on trivial details relative to an otherwise excellent candidate. The Palin pick is one of the biggest blunders in modern presidential politics, Tex. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Palin wasn't my first choice, but the Left's criticisms of her have been generally petty, silly, and myopic.

Most people's historical perspective begins the day they were born. Yours apparently began about 10 minutes ago.

You have to admit, the Left has played the media like a virtuoso with regards to taking down Caribou Barbie.

The Left hasn't had to do any playing --- what's it called when an instrument plays itself?

I was actually thinking Levin's question was verging on Sooner's area of expertise

Hmmm.... So what do think about the criticism she is getting from the right?

Many on the right think she is intentionally sabotaging McCain's campaign to set herself up for a run in 2012. What a great ticket they have assembled!
