The Super Bowl just went from an exciting Old Man Favre vs Mr Perfect to totally uninteresting. Does anyone believe that Eli and the Giants can beat the Pats? Is there any suspense now? They couldn't do it at home 3 weeks ago and they won't be able to do it in a neutral venue. Congratulations New England Patriots on your 2008 Super Bowl Championship.

It was a good game 3 weeks ago and ended up being 38-35. The Giants just beat the top 3 NFC teams all on the road. They have the d-line to get pressure on Tom by only rushing 4 and dropping enough in coverage to handle all of the Pats recievers. I am excited about this game.

It was a good game 3 weeks ago. I don't think NY can play any better than they did and it wasn't enough.

I would be willing to bet that the Giants will play the Pats better than either of the other two teams the Pats played in the playoffs. The Giants are a hot team and have some momentum.

The Giants also lost to Dallas twice during the regular season.

And Brett Favre was something like 9,532-2 in home games played below 20 degrees.

The vaGiants have been playing inspired football the last few weeks. Tonights win was impressive.

I think both of the Pats' playoff opponents were superior to the Giants.

Two words: Eli Manning. For NY to win he has to play as perfectly as he did 3 weeks ago and then NOT throw that pick at the critical point in the game. I just don't see it happening. I think we'll see a tight game going into the half and then NE pulling away late in the 3rd. I think Manning throws at least one costly pick. I see a final score with a 10 point difference for the Pats.

My original post was never meant to say that it won't be a good game. Only to say that I don't believe for a second that NY will win it. With GB we'd have had the Favre angle and one of the few teams in the playoffs that NE hasn't already beaten.
