Default Boozer lost the game for the Jazz

After DWill hit the tying shot, Boozer assumed Dallas would call a timeout and didn't run back, and then Dirk hits the winning shot (Dallas had no timeouts).

Lazy and stupid.

That was just embarrassing. Way to show your mental toughness, Jazz.

I couldn't agree more.

That has been Boozer all year long. Just lazy as hell and absent minded when it comes to his defensive effort.

Dwill, Okur and AK really played their hearts out tonight, only to have the crappy effort by Boozer undermine them.

And to think that some on ufn.net thought I was an idiot saying that the Jazz teams that went to the finals roll this Jazz team out like some cheap carpet.

I think what I'm most upset about is how Deron's totally clutch 3-pointer is completely forgotten because Booz didn't play defense.

Karl Malone would've abused the holy shit out of Boozer and Okur.

Are you serious? It wouldn't even be close.

That Jazz team (particularly the second year) was LOCK down on defense (except at the end of Game 6...)

There is no comparison.

The Jazz have a nice team this year. And they are peaking at the right time. But let's not get carried away in the moment.

Looking back in retrospect, how in holy heck did Sloan go back to back Finals with Shandon Anderson, Greg Ostertag, Howard Eisley, and Byron Russell? Didnt Greg Foster play on some of those teams? Seriously, that is pretty amazing.

Rocky, watch your language around Triplet. His ears are easily offended.

Rocky and I are already working on stuff offline for him.

You just focus on your own safe words.

I have noticed that you have dialed down the profanity today, so I appreciate it. Also, you havent snapped or argued with anyone. In the words of Ice Cube...it was a good day.

Yes, there are some who think this team would have beaten Stockton and Malone at their peak. Of course, these are people who were probably 10 years old back then.

Yes, Foster was on the team both of those years. He actually was able to provide a spark once in a while. As for Anderson and Russell, they were pretty athletic and smart enough to know their roles. Tag was, well, Tag. And Eisley was a competent backup to spell Stock.

But I do understand what you're saying. What it tells me is that the Jazz had a helluva combination in Stock and Malone and Sloan is an underrated coach.

In the 97-98 season, the Jazz won 43 of the last 48 games. 43-5. Jordan just wanted it more.
