Alpine Loop, Take two
I did the alpine loop today for only the second time. I remember posting the first time about stopping 15 times and it taking over 3 1/2 hours to summit from the mouth of Provo Canyon. 2 1/2 months later I made it to the summit in 2 hours 43 minutes and I had to fix two flats. I would have made it in 2:20 had that not happened!
Anyway, it felt really good to see the improvement come. I am really sad that there is about a month left of riding this year, at least in the canyons. http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/activity/6762695

Side note. I really like the Y kit. It was my first time wearing it. I wish the shammy was a little thicker but that is it. the bibs are super comfy and the LG stuff is really put together well.

Way to go, Coach.
Have you done Squaw Peak yet?

Thanks JL. I haven't done Squaw Peak yet, but I have plans to. Short and steep, right?

I did Squaw Peak for the first time last Saturday. It's a gut-buster. There just aren't any spots where you can get a break. I just put my head down and went slow.
