Default Anyone interested in a BYU jersey?

I just got an email from my cousin who is president of the BYU cycling club. Each year they make and sell a new cycling jersey. This year apparently they are expanding it to shorts and gloves as well. I bought one last year and love it. Louis Garneau jersey with very cool design.

Here is his description:

" The club will be placing an order earlier than last year, we will be
ordering jerseys, shorts, and probably gloves. We are designing a new
jersey that will be a more classic euro style very clean and sharp. It
will be navy blue with cougars written across the front in block lettering
and then the Y logo on the back. The shorts will be bibs with the same Y
logo on the side panels. Once we have the design and prices I'll let you
know what they are. I'm excited about this design it should look really
slick."

I'm not sure how soon the order will go in, but I would imagine within a couple of weeks.

Let me know if anyone is interested and I can put in a mass order for us.

You know I'm in brother. This is really the ONLY opportunity I've found to get BYU cycling gear. I've not been able to find it anywhere else. Mr. bluegoose hooked me up last year and that jersey was well worth the money. Very sharp. It also allows you to meet every LDS rider in a century.

I'm seeing it now guys, we can be team BYU at Solvang. As we roar by people like they're standing still I'm sure I'll more than once hear the phrase "who's the fat guy drafting off the back?"

Default I'll try to get more info from him.

I'm not sure what the specifics are. I'm picturing standard cycling jersey with separate bib shorts.

Archaea, what do you mean when you say zip down front or bib?

Mike, if your physique matches that of your arvata then you are a can't miss in the sexy department.

Jersey cost about $50 last year. Throw in a couple bucks for shipping and we're good. I'm not sure on the bib and gloves. It took about 2 months for delivery once the order was placed.

Feel free to spread the word to your local buddies. Just so nobody ends up screwing over those poor college students, I would feel more comfortable with pre-payment at the time of the order. Last year he requested 1/2 early, 1/2 at time of delivery, but that just seems like too much of a hassle.

I will let you know when the order is due so that we can get specific sizes and arrange through PM shipping and payment issues.

Default I'm not a big fan of bib shorts

but for BYU what the heck.

I just got some new Nike shorts that are nice.

I wrote poorly. Is the shirt a full front zipper or just part way down?

Default questions, questions and too much information.

I've always liked bib shorts. My wife hates them, as she says it reminds her of wrstling and she has always hated all that grappling. Hence I have few bibs and use them less, especially as we have riddne the tandem more and more in the last few years. Nonethless, I am for it.

Steel, do you have that photof of you in the jersey that remeber seeing? I would like look at last year's jersey agin.

Bliegoose: Is there any limit on the number of jersey;s you might feel comfotable ordering? If I pone this up to some of my LDS rifdign firneds, I can see placing an order for a fair number by myself. Do you care how many we ask for?

EDIT:

MY TYPING SUCKS. Sorry about that. Too lazy to clean it up. Where's the (*&*%$@%^ spell checker?

Here's a photo of me riding Solvang. It was just after leaving a rest stop and that's why I look so lazy. You can't see the jersey real well, but it's the best of the bunch.
