I've never actually tailgated before, as most of my time in college was spent working before games, and last year I didn't have tickets. However, this year, we DO have tickets and I would love to tailgate some. It just depends on how well my boy can handle all the atmosphere for THAT long. Good news is he is going to get started on it early so he has no choice but to learn to like it.

You can start preparing him all Summer. Test his endurance by tying him down in the middle of the yard on a sunny day. Throw him a hot dog, and a couple drinks.. Use sunscreen as you see fit. Start out at a half hour and then increase the time each week. As soon as he can withstand the heat up to 4 hours, he'll be good to go. He'll be in tailgating shape before he's walking.

I'm not sure if that is true or not. The kid is 4 months old today and he is trying to walk already. There are times that he will sit and scream or wiggle and fuss until somebody grabs his hands so he can stand up.

Sounds like you've got a baby genius on your hands! There's no need for anyone to question his toughness in tailgating then! My little girl is 6 months now and she likes to always be sitting up or jumping up and down. It's hilarious.

I don't really tailgate out here because I don't go to the games.

One of the reasons I don't attend games is because they're so dang expensive.

I'm curious...how much are season tickets for you guys?

Season tickets for the University of Utah start at $75 each (6 games). Those are in the North End Zone which is probably the most fun spot to be if you're not a student.

Just look for the pirate ship. That's where the fun is.
