Default JAMA article on Taiwan, the epidemiological badass.

Taiwan has kept its Coronavirus cases to 42 while neighboring Korea has 5,600. In spite of the fact that Taiwan has the most direct flights to China.

Basically, what it did was:
1. Established a central command after the SARS outbreak.
2. Integrated its health database with its immigration database.
3. Flag travelers from high-risk areas, put them on a 14-day quarantine, and track them on their phones to ensure they don't violate said quarantines.
4. Establish a hotline to report your own or others' symptoms.

Hmm, in the USA we are trying the opposite approach. No testing. Anything goes.

Should be interesting.
