Default Just got back from my ride

I pulled a Floyd landis stage 16 and cracked badly in the heat. I felt like I was going to puke the whole time. Even on the descent.
Which is crazy. Because at the behest of the CG fashion cops I took the visor off my helmet thinking that would solve all my problems. Of course I didn't want to be a total poser so I didn't bust out the Disco or CSC kit and instead opted for a plain 10$ red jersey from Performancebike.com
So I probably cracked because my outfit wasn't spicey enough.

Be careful that you don't listen to a mtn biker. Your legs will turn hairy, you will be wearing hiking shorts with a pad in the butt area or biking shorts that are at least a size to large, a visor on the helmet, a jersey sponsored by the local bar and socks that should only be worn to church.

I'm only saying this because last year I get invited by one of my road buddies to go for a ride with his mt buddies. We get there and they all look like they haven't eaten or taken a bath for a month. The ride was up the side of a mountain with switchbacks and they went up it like mountain goats. I was way behind and humbled
