In all actuality, Lingo did get a raw deal over there. I think Jefe needs to let Lingo free.

The best part was mindful's quip.

The Tulane game? wow. I thought I jumped off early but it took me all the way to the 4th game of 2002 against Georgia Tech.

The freaking fake punt at the end of the first half after which Louisville got the ball at mid field and immediately scored, effectively ending the game for all intents and purposes made me want to run up the aisle to the top of the stadium and jump off. Before that, BYU was still in the game at least. Crowton was a freaking idiot.

Which is why my officially jumping off the bandwagon only 4 games into 2002 is so impressive. I don't have a reputation for being negative about coaches or players. In fact I normally lean quite apologetic. But Crowton was something else. The Las Vegas Bowl last year was cathartic for me. I think I have most of my Crowton hate out of my system now. (I mean hate in a purely non-personal, sports way)
