Default Commish on 1280

From what Thompson said on 1280, he was really spinning the coverage of all of the games, saying that fer sure the Ute and Cougar games would be available in the Utah market.

The problem is, they have always been available here. The games need to get to a national audience for Cougar fans everywhere. I think the Link up with CBS is causing some very ambitious broadcast programmers to dream big, and jump over the MWC to establish a national presence. Kind like... ESPN when it first started.

I thought that Thompson was saying that all MWC football games would be available- they would just be programmed all at once. (Overlapping games broadcast at the same time). That doesnt bother me too much as I have 2 replay TVs so I can handle up to 3 games at the same time.

I demand they be available to everyone who wants to buy them. Regardless of where they live.

Texas for me. That 'fer sure the Ute and Cougar games would be available in the Utah market' phrasing makes me nervous.

Didn't there used to be an Anonymous37 on cb?

It has improved dramatically since that time, but when that first aired, along with the announcment of the new CSTV-MWC contract, I shed a tear, and not of joy.
Was it the game in Palo Alto or the game in Provo? I would have to say that the best performance at the game in Palo Alto was when CJF got in the fight with the Stanford Band trombone player.
