I like this BYUruss guy. He's like the cute little nephew who just learned his first word and is proud to let the world know about it by repeating it often.

The unfortunate thin for him is that his first word is "douchebag".

I love it when quarrels from another board end up following you to another. Good old Il' Padrino has had it out for me on the CB for awhile now. I think it stems from the comments I made in the thread where he was outed for giving Majerus a reach around with a handful of Crisco and some Oreo crumbs.

As one of the few here who aren't restricted by the WoW, what kind of liquor do you suggest? I would imagine that Rum would taste pretty good; my drinking friends say it goes well with Sprite.

As a kid I often heard the story where Mary Fielding Smith blessed her sick oxen - sometimes the stories even included anointing and laying-on-hands [which Legacy movie didn't include], but have never been able to track it down in a historical source. I have no doubt that people often prayed for their livestock, but the priesthood part is enigmatic.

Is this a mormon myth, or something that's been expunged?

Does anyone know where to find a reputable historical reference to this story?

The missionaries gave my brother's pit bull a blessing. She was diagnosed with melanoma a couple of years ago and is still living today. Actually, I think they did her a disservice. She is one nasty little bitch that should have been put to sleep long before she got melanoma.

Wow, look at this thread on CB. This guy relates an experience of giving a dog a priesthood blessing. Am I wrong to think that this guy is completely insane? Or is the laying of hands on animals a common thing? At any rate this post is par for the course on CB, IMO.
Your troll detection alarm needs some refinement. With a name like Zoob Dude I think it should be pretty obvious. BYU fans wouldn't call themselves that and neither would Utah fans who weren't trolling.

Lavina Anderson wrote an article about MFS and her ox in Dialogue back in the early 80s. That article would probably be a good starting point.

Perhaps you should just go back and edit the content of all of those posts. Your problems would be solved.
