When are we going to invade Saudi Arabia? They are probably terrified of us.
You mean the Saudi government directed their citizens to attack us on 9/11?

P.S. I don't own a gun, but I do lock my doors.
Auto insurance is required by law.

Now the tide is shifting. Everyone is coming at me with examples of how security measure provide peace of mind. I never argued this point.

Your insurance example provides no proof that owning insurance ever meant that I was going to get into an accident in the first place.

I agree that wiretapping makes me feel better. I disagree that it shows that we are going to be attacked next weekend.

House behind me broken into twice. Not that long ago, helicopter and cops circling house, suspects had broken into house/garage and holed up after fleeing the police. We've had a house invasion in my neighborhood about 1.5 yr ago, I have a neighbor two houses down who said until recently he had a car stolen or broken into every year. Our LDS neighbors next street over had their car broken into and a semester's worth of law school notes stolen.

I've been robbed of some equipment I have left outside.

That's just the tip of the iceberg. For those of us in the REAL WORLD, self-defense is a REAL concept.

One more: 20 pound stone through my father's car's back window overnight in front of my home.

The Saudis fostered an environment that led to the indoctrination, motive, and financial ability to attack the USA.

No more than Saddam sponsored terrorists to attack the US.

Or the Afghani government sponsored terrorists to attack the US. Check that....what Afghani government?

Auto insurance <> life insurance. The next time you happen to drive by the maximum penitentiary, I would like to invite you to go into the shower area, pull your pants down, bend over and sing Karma Chameleon. Odds are you won't get raped, but you won't exactly be placing that bet from a position of strength.

So, your answer would be zero, Annie Oakley?

Keep that gun close at night. The boogeyman is coming to get you.

You asked for insurance. You can feel free to backpeddle now.

This all seems very on-point to whether Bush deserves credit for no terrorist attacks.

Nice Karma Chameleon and prison rape blast, though.

Have I had my house invaded? No.

Have I called the police and have had gun in hand? Yes.

For those of us with callouses on our hands, it is very real.

Oh yeah, another neighbor right next to me had his shed broken into and all his lawn equipment stolen.

Really, the only thing left is for us to be robbed or invaded or killed.

How much crime has gone aroun in the houses next to you?

Another LDS neighbor had his van stolen from in front of his house a couple years ago.

How is your neighbor Robin doing?
