(KSL News) -- A head-on collision in New Zealand killed two missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

20-year old Bradley Isle of Las Vegas and and 21-year old Jonathan Talmadge of Willamina, Oregon died last night on impact. The companions were headed to a dinner appointment when they were hit.

Elder Isle attended BYU Idaho before leaving on his mission in October.

LDS Church officials have not confirmed this information yet.

Elder Isle was is my dad's branch in the MTC. My parents are going to send some pictures they had of him with his district to the family. My parents remembered him and said he was a good missionary.
