I think you have plenty of evidence now that they may have some utility in the future.

Call me chicken little, but I am very worried about a flu pandemic. It will make New Orleans look like a cakewalk.

Imagine SARS everywhere in the world and you get the picture. Sometimes these bugs are most deadly to the healthiest (basically your immune response kills you).

I stocked up on my food storage this year. And I of course own a number of guns for insurance.

Speaking of food storage, is everything in watertight canisters?

And seeing as how the water in NO is contaminated....how much water do you have supplied? Coleman stove? Several gallons of propane?

I agree with the riot gun.
