Game day
Haven't been following news on the team very much.
So I don't have a sense if we are going to see some improvements, for example the OL. Whether Taysom Hill will hold onto his progress or revert to being one of the worst, most inaccurate QBs in college football. I heard a report or two that he didn't play that well compared to the backup. I guess we got back a couple of corners that got hurt before last season? Saw that we are favored by 16 against CT. So hopefully not a L. |

The best running back won't return until Texas game. Jamal, violation of team rules. Defensively, the starting corners, JJ and Daniels are out for violation of team rules. The defensive line is a question mark, but the linebackers appear to be decent. Before the four players who will be held out, I was excited to watch this team. Now, the chemistry and many of the new players will be absent. I do not expect extraordinary improvement on Taysom's accuracy. He is what he is. But I believe with improved line play, you will see some improvement in accuracy. I am cautiously hopeful and optimistic of a better year. The schedule is easier, so BYU should improve its record no matter what. BSU, btw, looked less than it has in the past. I was disappointed in its play. Ole Miss didn't look special either. Of course, first games are not good predictors of seasons.
