I wonder how many viewers the Texas game would have had on one of the ESPNs instead of Fox 1. It was a favorable timeslot. The channel has to be the only reason it is one of the lesser-viewed games.

Yup. New sports channel buried under hundreds of others. I bet if it had been ESPN in favorable time slot would have been 2 million.

Best thing would be to compare BYU/Texas against other games on same channel in same time slot. (I'm too lazy).
