I was begging for a team like them on selection day. Of course we got the big, athletic, fast, deep, underseeded Big 12 team.

The Golden Flashes have beaten NOBODY of consequence this year. They've played a Big Sky schedule or worse. UNLV's pairing was a gift. I don't understand why the NCAA loves UNLV but hates BYU. There must be a good reason.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

Kent State had a pre-tournament pep talk by New Mexico's Ritchie McKay.

LOL...I counted at one point in the first Kent State literally missed 8 point blank layups....that's when you know that things aren't going your way.
