Default Results of today's student symposium

The BYU religion student symposium was today, for which I had submitted the paper on the first visions. The first place award was $1,000, 2nd place was $750, 3rd place $500, three others were awarded $250, and about ten others were given $100. My paper was among the three who received $250, so effectively, I was placed somewhere between 4th and 6th (out of 98 total entries and 48 presenting today). I'm now starting the process of getting the paper published.

Just thought I'd let you all now.

Strong work AA. I was just thinking about your paper today. Glad to hear all that work earned you some cash.

I read the paper and it was solid work. Well deserved praise.

I can't remember - was it written for a class or just a little side-project?

If it was for a class, then wow, did I ever underachieve in my BYU religious assignments.

Congratulations.

And just for the heck of it, I'll remind you that in the Olympics, 4th place is the highest placed loser to not get a medal.
