Do we have to take free public roads to get there? Or can we take all private toll roads, instead?

I don't want to be cruising around on infrastructure that was purchased by the government with my tax dollars.

Also, are the Mexicans in the country illegally? If they are illegal, I just don't see what value they are adding (beyond a restaurant in which we can eat)

Yes, all Mexicans who work there are legal. In fact, they are all US citizens. Unfortunately, you will have to use public streets to get there, but once there, you'll be on private property.
