Mormons have horns, eat their babies, conjure potions (only love potion though), destroy small nations, liquify poison, and are assembling the largest collection of borg to assimilate species and technology alike.

Be forewarned, we are Borg.

Aaronshaf, you boys have a lot of energy. You must be terrified about how we are wielding Satan's power through our various efforts.

Jesus said love everyone... except those baby-eating, potion drinking, horn growing mormons.

Aaron here is exactly the type of Evangelical that makes the world cross to the other side of the street.

More on Aaron:

Aaron Shafovaloff’s Website

He's felt the calling to the Mormons. The type of kook that turns out at Mormon events practicing his "street evangelism" and thereby unintentionally confirming the faith of many an LDS believer. The irony is priceless.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

Yeah, because when someone tells you that you're wrong and ought to adopt something else that is true, that itself is ABSOLUTE SURE EVIDENCE that you are right!

What a way to live.

I prefer the advice of J. Reuben Clark:

Quote:
"If we have the truth, it cannot be harmed by investigation. If we have not the truth, it ought to be harmed."

Aaron, what do you think of Romney's big day. Raised $6.5 million.

And a right-wing evangelical-type senator endorsed him.

I guess even the very elect can be deceived, right?

Stick around. We'll make you into a Mormon eventually.

Vignettes are priceless and the source of all wisdom. Nothing else matters where you're concerned. Keep it up buddy, you'll continue to drive them our way.

The more street evangelists the better.

I think the Mormonwiki is a great thing for Mormons. Because religious folks will stumble upon it and say "wow this is interesting". And then "wow I had no idea that Mormons were so misguided." "Hmmm, I know a Mormon at work, I'll ask him." "Sure, I'd be happy to meet with your young missionaries since you say they can best answer my questions." "Wow, I really am touched, this is what I've been looking for my whole life, yes I will be baptized in the true church, the only church with God's priesthood authority."

Unintended consequences are a WONDERFUL thing.
