He compares controlling homosexual feelings to a person who covets someone else's property and has a strong temptation to steal it? Compares it to a person who develops a taste for alcohol? Compares it to a person who is born with a 'short fuse'? Give me a break, as if those things are remotely comparable to controlling same-sex attraction.

I didn't read the article but in my mind the comaprison isn't drawn between those other acts and controlling the attraction, it is between those acts and and not acting on the attraction, which is a big difference and, as Jay notes below, not unlike other sexual variances.

I posted this before reading the entire thread. If I had read the full thread first and seen how it had devolved into such childish behavior I would have avoided it altogether.
