Archaea is an unknown quantity at this point
Default 2010 enthusiasm

is it muted, about at reasonable levels or unnecessarily diffuse?

My sense is that many are excited about the new QB, some sense of excitement over new running backs while being disappointed over the loss of Unga, and a sense of worry about the defense.

We could suffer significantly against FSU, UW and maybe even Nevada, Utah, TCU and perhaps AFA, being so early in the season.

As a constant, the season concerns me.

Our schedule has enough teams to thump us, the team has enough holes but I wager we'll be a team between 8 to 10 wins, with some disappointments. The MWC is weak enough we will look better than we are at times.

My enthusiasm was high after Spring practice, now it is curbed by the opening 4 game stretch. The chances of being 3-1 or 1-3 are about the same. With young and inexperienced players a couple of ill timed miscues can make the difference between these two records.
