I think I underestimated Tom Cruise's level of gullibility. Not only does he believe the whole Space Lord Xenu throwing ghosts into the volcano story, but he believes that only Scientologists can be experts on everything from neurology to medicine.
For mindlessly accepting what Hubbard himself admitted was a racket, he sure is confident. |

In addition to being an expert on the mind, on getting people off drugs, and on relieving unhappiness, toward the end it sounds like Cruise wants to eliminate non-Scientologists (SPs) from the Earth, and can't contain his joy at the mere thought of it. Pretty scary.
