heard a caller talk about how her insurance company sent her a "black box" type thing that would record her cars every action for the insurance company. She said that they said that it would not effect her rates and was purely for research and stuff, but I say this scares the hell out of me. Some would argue that all you have to do is to obey the law, but I think this is big brother at its beginning, or maybe we are already past the beginning and it is oblivious to most of us. The potential for this to get abused is not something I look forward to, and I think that sooner or later it will.

This is in no way the beginning......Big brother is going to rock! tic.
I have no problem with this though, since I obey all traffic laws (like a good little sheep that I am ![]() actually I do have a problem, until it proves to the insurance company and the police that the accident wasn't my fault. I actually am against it, but it's just the beginning of the end.

I heard something about those as well; they're not just for the insurance company. The cops can use it as well to decide if an accident was your fault.
Oh yeah, PURELY RESEARCH. In a manner of speaking. :x |
