I've now had two coaches from high school either be played by an actor in a movie or were an actor in a movie.

The other is bob kawa... from the first PG movie by disney "Takedown"

Haven't seen Forever Strong. But I have seen Takedown. It was written by the then wrestling coach at Alta High School, Eric Hendershot. He got passes to the premiere for as many AHS students that wanted to see it.

I liked Hendershot as a teacher (English) but I went because Marcia Brady is in it.

I had a high school coach depicted in a movie too. Bill Yoast was a sometimes assistant (mostly during the playoffs) at my high school though he had retired some years previous.
