What's going on with John Beck? It sounds like he's been having a rough go of it.

He seems to be struggling immensely, however all the QBs are struggling right now. A few things to remember:

1. 3 new starters on the O-line.
2. Best reciever on the team is Ernest Wilford who had a career high 45 catches last year, Davone Bess from Hawaii has been the 2nd best in camp and he ran a 4.7 at the combine.
3. Miamis defense is better than people think.
4. John Beck still has not completely adjusted to the speed of the game and he still tries to thread the needle at times instead of making the smart play and throwing the ball away, he thinks he is Brett Favre.
5. Ronnie Brown is still not 100% and practicing full time, he will help JB and the other Qbs a lot.

Aside from supporting cast issues, it sounds like he's stepping back to the high-strung John Beck we knew for a lot of his BYU career.

On another note, it sounds like Ricky Williams is doing well.

Yep he figured out how to achieve the "IT" factor in college but it has not carried over to the NFL.

Ricky is running well, he doesnt have a lot of miles on him for his age, so he will be a nice complimentary back to Ronnie.
