This is how gay marriage will spread to Utah
http://www.masslive.com/news/topstor...080.xml&coll=1
Massachusetts will now allow non-residents to marry there. Gay Utah couples can now go to Massachusetts and get married, and return to Utah to live. The looming showdown: The Full Faith and Credit Clause -- does it require Utah to recognize the marriage lawfully performed in Massachusetts? New York's governor has already directed his state agencies to recognize gay marriages performed in other states. This is a de facto adoption of gay marriage in New York. All the benefits, even the title, only difference is that the marriage license won't be from New York but from some other state.

I think Utah ought to allow plural marriages and then send those folks to Mass.

No. But there will be legally and lawfully wedded gay couples living in Utah. I find that interesting.

You think that there will be millions demanding their right to marry their daughter? What % of our population is gay? What percentage of heterosexuals support gay marriage? This is a strawman arguement if there ever was one.

So the granting or denial of a civil right should depend on the number of people demanding it?

Not just numbers, no. I know where you are headed. You would equate a desire of gays to marry each other, with the desire of a father to marry his daughter. The notion that you see the two as essentially equal, as the tired saying goes, speaks volumes.

What if his daughter wasn't his biological daughter and what if she was consenting and what if she was over 21?
