You would not believe the great time I had...
...removing the broken-off dipstick in my Nissan Sentra.
Nissan makes a plastic handle for its dipstick. They have the propensity to break, with the handle coming off, and the plastic part that the metal is embedded in, getting lodged in the dipstick tube. I won't bore you with all the various things I tried, which included superglue, vacuum cleaner, fire, air compressor, and other things. The thing that finally worked was a 12 inch drill bit in combination with a coat-hanger. Do yourselves a favor, and never buy a Nissan. |
