Default Healthcare differences - advantage Obama

I can agree there is some logic to McCain's proposal for healthcare, but let's be realistic - the potential for significant change is not great. The healthcare problems are big enough that window dressing isn't going to get the job done.

As the ranks of the uninsured grows, the cost-shifting problem gets big enough to overwhelm attempts at the margin to address the problem.

Socialized medicine is ridiculously expensive.

A large percentage of the uninsured are those who choose not to be insured. That fact always seems to be ignored by the pro-universal health care crowd.

1) The fastest growing segment of the uninsured are those couples making over $75K who CHOSE not to purchase health insurance.

2) About 30% of those uninsured are undocumented ..... err ..... illegal aliens.

Justify my tax dollars going to fund these two groups.
