How many times did they recount in Florida, only to have the same results? Three? If Gore would have just done the right thing and concede, it never would have gotten as ugly as it did.

I'm no fan of Rove at all, but I agree that he's a heckuva strategist. Without Rove, Bush is politically insignificant.

Word on the EC...the only college where W ever really excelled....but even then, he needed help from others, just like Yale and Harvard.

Didn't Gore flunk out of the seminary?

It makes me laugh to think that Bush graduated from the same school as Kerry and the Clintons. That kind of dampens Mrs. C's title as "smartest woman in the world". don'tcha think?

Gore went to harvard, too. He was roommates with Tommy Lee Jones, the now famous actor.

I am not too sure how much W actually attended classes. Clintons were on Yale Law Journal, so that required some effort on their part. W took ballroom dancing and Fitness For Life, I think.

And in the end, Bush occupied the White House, just like Clinton, which tells me that Bush is actually smarter, as he did it without working as hard as Clinton did.
