I forgot what it feels like to lose
Doesn't hurt quite as much as I remember it, actually. Not saying I like it, but life will go on.

Yeah, this one hurts. The other loses the last two years weren't in the second half of the season.
We just need a close up shot of a young member of Cosmo's kid's club crying in the stands to top it off. |

I will react to this loss the same way I have reacted to losses by USC, Dodgers, and Lakers: Oh, well!
Time to focus on next week's game.

I don't feel too bad. TCU is out of BYU's league this year. I am surprised by the difference in talent level. I would be sad if BYU had a legit shot, but they didn't. TCU is just too good. We would lose ten out of ten to them.

What about if we played on a neutral field?

The one thing that frustrates me is we should be a better team than last year on paper. We got the whole offense back. Seems like both Utah and TCU are better than us this year. Did those teams just get much better over the offseason than we did?

I think we would lose ten out of ten on a neutral field and nine out of ten at home. The talent difference was astonishing. Everything from the pass rush to the coverage. It would take an NFL worthy arm to beat them. Our receivers were covered all night. I like how TCU plays zone on one side of the field and man on the other sometimes. They knew where Hall wanted to go and that receiver was double convered all night. It seemed like they had 15 defenders.
