Kobe is watching and thinking, "tomorrow, not only do I need to fake the flu, but also fake a bad knee."

How is that dude going to keep going for several more years? He is hobbling all over.

That shot to force playoff was sick.

Is it customary to have a full 18-hole playoff?

Only for the US Open. Most other events are sudden death and a few are three hole playoffs.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't know how serious his injuries have been, so I don't know whether or not this is that dire.

Am I the only one who watched that and thought "rope-a-dope?" I don't doubt the knee was bothering him, but he seemed to be playing it up a bit.

I wonder if he's not a bit bored with the competition.

Tiger is out for the rest of the year. He needs a fourth knee surgery that will sideline him.

TV Ratings for the Brittish Open and subsequent tournaments will take a nose-dive. It'll be interesting to see how is event does in D.C. now.
