Today's lesson was on keeping the Sabbath day holy.

Instructor: What sorts of activity are good to do on the Sabbath? Is it okay to spend time with your wife?

Me: What are you asking? Are you asking whether it is okay to have sex on the Sabbath? Of course it is.

I actually felt pretty bad because after I said it the instructor turned bright red and couldn't speak for about 2 minutes. I talked to him after and he had recovered but he was pretty startled when it happened.

My response when this came up was that it was better for me to have sex with my wife on the Sabbath than for somebody else to have sex with her.

I had to teach today's lesson. What a pain. The Sabbath lesson is pretty hard because it can easily devolve into a can and can't argument. Our lesson went pretty well, but not as exciting as a nice discussion of Sunday intercourse.

I see nothing wrong with changing your oil on Sunday. However, not all minit-lubes are open on Sunday. I would think that would be especially true in the Provo-Orem area.

Yes... And that argument can spill over into IM conversations with family members in Utah.

Apparently my brother-in-law wasn't satisfied with the thoughts of his own EQ so he decided to hijack my Sunday chat with my little sister to argue with me...
