Default Ocean's 13

Saw Ocean's 13 last night and thought it was pretty good. It was far superior to the second one and close to on par with the first one.

Like many of the 3rd in a series movies that have been discussed this summer, the humor was similar to the first, but they still got laughs, and there was a great deal of subtle (and not so subtle) humor in it as well that picked it up.

The cast, as usual, was fantastic. Any time you get that combination of actors on film, you're going to get good acting at a bare minimum.

The plot was pretty easy to follow, then again, a number of reviewers on CB struggled with the plot line of a disney movie about Pirates...so the easily confused might want to steer clear.

Overall, it was an enjoyable movie, IMO.

Oh, and...welcome back Ellen Barkin...hello!

Maybe I'll catch it when I'm in Denver.

I hear the Mormon Twins get more screen time in the 3rd one.

I'm torn. Ocean's 12 sucked to high heaven. The producers of that movie took the goodwill they'd earned from us in Ocean's 11 and screwed us over big time. Horrible writing, crappy plot and the actors didn't want to be there it seemed. I hate that movie with the fire of a thousand suns.

But Ocean's 11 was so good I find myself thinking that they can do it again for 13.

I'll probably end up seeing it.

Am I the only person who didn't like Oceans 11?

I tried to like it. I saw it twice and just couldn't like it.

My dislike for the first kept me away from 12 and has me not planning to see

Glad I'm not the only one.

I can't say exactly why I didn't like it. It just didn't do anything for me.

I saw it last night. The cast is as good as it gets, great acting, Clooney and Brad Pitt are hilarious very dry humor between the two.

I agree with everyone else, loved Oceans 11, thought they tried way to hard on 12 to add twists and turns, went back to what made 11 succesful for 13. I enjoyed it good movie.
