Clearly there is no such thing as superstar treatment in the NBA.
again more evidence that Deron is not a superstar.

Paul is a superstar.

Second, what does it matter that the Jazz out-rebound the Lakers if they cant hit open shots?

The Lakers are not the team that has to make any adjustments right now. Unless you are unsatisfied and want the Lakers to win by 20 points.

When a team loses one game in a playoff series, it isnt generally a big deal. Teams need a moment to get used to each other. When they lose back-to-back games, it is always a big deal....because it shows an inability to make adjustments.

Right now, the only thing Jazz fans are hoping is that being at home will all of sudden change the nature of the matchups. I guess the crowd yelling loudly will make Boozer a great defender?
There was a 16-4 difference in Offensive rebounding. The Jazz will shoot better at home (probably), and if they maintain that rebounding margin, it could be difficult for the Lakers to make up those points. Obviously, if they shoot better, it'll be harder to get as many O-Rebs....

I think they were right, Mike, you're really beating on this dead horse.

You are definitely correct. Deron did get hammered last night with no call.

I contend that he will get those calls Fri and Sun at home.

And he will get them more in future years once he is a superstar. he is already well on his way

Home Cooking is definitely a verifiable occurrence, and I would also suspect he'll get those calls at home. And I agree, he was definitely hammered. Kobe got fouled with no call several times as well - though the fouls were not as obviously egregious.

I think Boozer is trying to gun for the 6th man of the year award next year.

That's because the Lakers didn't miss.

Fair enough, but the Lakers were also beat on the boards on Sunday, to the tune of 25-8 in O-Rebs. Granted, the Jazz had plenty of missed shots to rebound, but the Lakers only shot 45%...
