So i just looked at your playlist and I tried to get some of the same bands but the songs I wanted were not available such as Fake Empire by The National and Anytown Graffiti by Pela......Strange. We seem to have similar tastes.

I had the same issues with The National and Pela, also seawolf.

Just saw Vampire weekend in LA. That was a fun show, but way too short.

Tokyo Police Club next week, which should be a good one. I love these late shows because I can still put the kids to bed and go to the show.

Mike did some troubleshooting and got mine posted, so give it a listen and tell me what you think. Only the first 8 songs are from 2007 as that is what was available to me. The rest are just good songs from the past. The original top songs of 2007 looked like this,

Intervention-The Arcade Fire
Fiery Crash-Andrew Bird
Our Life is Not a Movie or Maybe-Okkervil River
Impossible Germany-Wilco
Anytown Graffiti-Pela
National Anthem of Nowhere-Apostle of Hustle
Fake Empire-The National
The Temptation of Adam-Josh Ritter
You Got Your Cherry Bomb-Spoon
No One's Gonna Love You-Band of Horses
All I Need-Radiohead
This Year-The Thrills
My Life Flashed Before My Eyes-The Cribs
My Rights Versus Yours-The New Pornographers
Night Windows-The Weakerthans
Barnes-Pinback
Presents-Via Audio
When I Get to the Border-Richard Thompson
Paper and Glue-Emma Pollock
Sing! Captain-Handsome Furs

Enjoy!

Again, Thanks Mike

I've posted my last.fm jukebox at the above URL. You can put your own up as well. Just click on the the "get your own" link at the bottom left of my player. It will take you to the last.fm site where you can set up your own account. You can search for bands to put on your list and add them manually, or alternatively you can install their software which will automatically track the music you listen to and put in your jukebox (I think). Once you have everything set up you can click on the "widget" link and it will give you HTML code. If you forward that code to me, I will add it to the above URL.

It's free, it's legal, it's cool.
on my profile page I click on the "build a playlist" but I keep getting this message

Create a playlist with the "add to my playlist" button on any track. The rules!
Your playlist must contain at least 15 tracks (with play buttons) from different artists.

Then what?
You can listen and even embed/add it to your MySpace or blog.

How do I actually pick the songs and add them to my playlist?

Once you have signed up for a free acount, just do a simple "search" for the bands you want to add. The search will hopefully give you anywhere from zero to 4 or 5 songs from that artist. If you see a song you want to add, there is an "add to playlist" button right there somewhere. It is pretty easy once you do it once.

Note that although you may often only hear a 30-second clip of the song, once it is in your playlist and you listen on "shuffle," you will hear the entire song. This tripped me up at first.

I am thinking of updating my playlist soon.

Pinback is on your list. They are one of my favorite bands.
