2008
Mitt Romney, standing with black kids, yells, "Who Let the Dogs Out?" 2003 George W Bush, wearing full flight gear for the obvious CIC photo-op, landing on the USS Abraham Lincoln in San Diego and announcing that major combat operations in Iraq had ended. 1998 Bill Clinton denies to the American public that he ever used Monica Lewinsky as a humidor for his trade-embargoed Cohibas.

I voted for Crowe only because that is the only film on that list that I've seen.

I'm the only vote for Denzel Washington? How can this be? He was the ultimate badass in Training Day.

I didn't really care for Training Day. In fact, I've always felt like that was kind of a "make up" Best Actor Oscar for Denzel. He had 3 or 4 films prior to that in which he gave Oscar worthy performances and he kept getting the shaft. I think voters started to realize they were looking pretty foolish leaving him out of the winner's circle time and again.

I agree, I felt he was a little over the top in Training Day especially at the end.

I couldn't make it through Training Day. I can't remember why. Perhaps I was bored? It was a truly forgettable movie, unlike Life is Beautiful. I voted for Roberto Benigni.

Did You Know? Russell Crowe was the second actor approached to star in Gladiator. Before him, Mel Gibson turned the film down, feeling that he was too old and his legs weren't buff looking enough. P.S. Gladiator's cinematography was absolutely terrible. Like the 2nd Bourne movie, just awful.
