Thanks tooblue. It's odd, the more time passes, the more "Christianity" accepts the truths restored by Joseph Smith.

Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith. |

Most Mormons would like NT Wright (this is not a new statement by him either; it just the first time that Time magazine has noticed). However, it should be clear that he would have major disagreements with Mormon over points of doctrine. My prediction is that for Mormons he is going to be the next C.S. Lewis. I think he will start to see him quoted in General Conference over the next 20 years.
If you haven't done it before take a look at some of his sermons sometimes. I like his 2005 Easter Vigil (I mentioned it in one of my lesson notes early last year on the guard): http://meam-commemorationem.blogspot...-vigil-05.html |

I also think they'd like Ben Witherington III. He has a nice site.

Agreed. I think Witherington is a good example of Faithful scholarship. Witherington's biblical commentaries are worth buying. It would be really nice if instead of seeing Deseret Book offer Joel Osteen books (and I have nothing against Osteen except that I don't perceive a lot of depth) they promoted Wright and Witherington. Both of them offering thoughtful faithful voices from an evangelical perspective.

bodily resurrection is in the Roman Creed. Why the hades don't traditional Christians accept it?
