I'm in Houston and paid $2.08 earlier. Tomorrow I'm headed to San Antonio and hear it's even lower.

14 1/2 gallons, $29.

Ohio is so wonderful that even Triple Dad noted that our slums are spot-free magic clean. My home is oversized and underpriced. My vote actually counts for something. I live near pelagius. Shall I go on?

You forgot that people are amazingly nice to cyclists in Ohio. We cheer them on and its considered good form to run to the store for them if its looks like they are short on water or gel-packs.

That's becasue with the winter and summer weather as they are, you can only comfortably ride a bicycle outside for about 17 days each year, so seeing one is a miracle.

Not the reason. we are just really nice. Afterall, we did liberate Toledo from the facist and evil clutches of Michigan. If you are willing to go to war for Toledo, you're just plain good people (because if you win your stuck with Toledo).

My sister in law is from Ohio...small town called Medina. They get all bent out of shape if you dont pronounce it Muh-DIE-nuh.

Anyway, when we went out there for the wedding, we spent the entire week....wedding party, rehearsal dinner, etc..the first day we all went to Cedar Point. The next day we drove down to Canton to check out the HOF.
By the third day we had nothing to do. My sister-in-law's mom went into the garage and brought back some glass jars. She told us to go outside and catch fireflies. She was being serious.

I have never been back to Medina.

Not me. I hate those spandex-clad freaks. Nothing startles them better or more safely than a loud Indian war cry out your window right when you pass them.

The worst was the time I got into an argument with a cyclist at work. I said black. He said white. I said Rolls. He said Royce. He didn't believe in Peter Pan, Frankenstein (he hated the Romantic era), or Superman. All he wanted to do was ride his bicycle. GD weirdo.
