So here we are almost 1/3 of the way through the year and nobody has scored any points. I'd argue that if nobody scores a point by the end of the year then I should win because Dick Cheney almost killed somebody and that's close enough.

My death pool choices aren't looking too good this year. Although I do get a little excited every time Gerald Ford has to go back to the hospital.

Well, I think this week won me the death pool, with both James Brown and Geral Ford passing away.

I've got the following:

Marion Dudley - 67 points
Jamie Elizalde - 66 points
Robert Neville - 69 points
Clyde Smith Jr. - 68 points
Tommie Hughes - 69 points
Robert Salazar Jr. - 73 points
Kevin Kincy - 62 points

I think it's pretty clear I won. All these guys died.

Gary Coleman??? That's funny. Interestingly, Gary now lives in Santaquin, Utah. Santaquin is a little hick town on the southern end of Utah County. Santaquin is mostly a backwater filled with trailers, pickups, and rednecks, but it occasionally produces a genius of staggering intellect (ahem).

Anyway, Coleman came to Utah to play a part in Ward Ball or some other low-budget recent Mormon film, fell in love with the area, and bought a home in Santaquin. Go figure.

I hear that he's pretty friendly and will talk with just about anyone. Unless you ask him to say "Whatchu talkin' 'bout?". In which case the conversation is instantly over and you may get a punch in the nose.

My brother in laws, little brother was his gardener for a while, before he left on his missioin. Gary drives a huge black jacked up truck (fits perfectly in Santaquin) and lives in a decent sized house on the bench.

How about this journalism in the DN article about Coleman:

Quote:
According to a Web-based encyclopedia, the actor whose growth was stunted because of a congenital kidney disease played Arnold Drummond on "Diff'rent Strokes" from 1978 to 1986. Coleman had a kidney transplant in 1973 and another one in 1984.
