Default Jessica Jones review (no spoilers)

Just finished the series. I really limped through the end because I was so bored and unmotivated.

The beginning of the series was better than the end. And part of the attraction at the beginning was the novelty of the hero (or anti-hero as it were) and the fact that it is more adult fare than most other superhero stuff. And then the mystery of who Jessica Jones is and who the bad guy is.

Like many shows, the more you know, the less interesting it is. As we get to know the characters better, it gets worse and worse. Plotting feels contrived. Characters do things that don't make sense.

The idea of the bad guy was an interesting one. The idea that this bad guy good learn to be good was perhaps the high point of interest. But that soon died.

I wouldn't bother with this series.
