Is it just you and RC doing LOTOJA this year? BigPiney, bloogoose, blue steel, creekster and the rest of you guys doing it?

Why is LOTOJA a big deal? I would love to do it next year or something so I have something big to work towards and it would be cool to have completed an event like that and have done well.

I'm looking forward to not riding on my top tube in ULCER this year.. I have a couple dudes that want to do it this year as well. Looking forward to preparing and riding better this year! ha ha.. although I must say riding the 111 miles was a good accomplishment for me considering the biggest ride I did was probably 40 miles previous to that.

It's the longest single day sanctioned bike race in the US. It is arduous, and everybody is crapping on us for some reason. But good ole Idaho dependability comes through again. You should do the citizen ride THIS year.

Same day, same distance, just different grouping.

I'll meet you so we can practice riding together, but ULCER is one. We need to avoid that problem in Springville.

I am doing the Desperado Duel in Panguich in August and the Moab Century tour in September. For those that have done ULCER, other than riding, what is the draw to doing this event?

It's Provo and it's fast. If you can make it to the south end of the lake before the wind comes up I think you could finish in under 4 1/2 hours.
