Default Ohbama......you want change? Change is a commin.

From the Democratically controlled Illinois and Chicago precincts! I love it. I finally figured out what change Barock is talking about. This is the political environment the messiah comes from.

Pension Plan $44B in debt:
" As a result, Illinois now owes more than $42 billion to its pension funds for retired teachers, university and other public employees.

"Illinois public pension liabilities are growing out of control, and the state's failure to pay keeps making them worse," said Chrissy Mancini, Director of Budget and Policy Analysis for CTBA, a bipartisan fiscal think tank based in Chicago. "If lawmakers don't act to meet these obligations now, the cost of catching up later will force cuts to education, health care and other essential public services."

Cook County Sales Tax:

"CHICAGO (CBS) ― After battling for five months, the Cook County Board has voted to more than double the county's sales tax, bringing the overall sales tax in Chicago to be the highest of any major U.S. city at 10.25 percent."

Murder Rate: ABC - April 2008

"In a city where there has been a hand-gun ban on the books since the early 80's, shootings are on the rise again. Not since 2003 has Chicago held the ugly title of Murder Capital (not per capita either), with the recent outburst of gun violence this past weekend in Chicago, it looks like they are in the running again for the title of Murder Capital in 2008."

Barock, bring that change to the rest of the nation......especially the blue states. They love you and am sure they would forgive you if you bring this kind of change to their lives and neighborhood.

Do you really think Chicago is in dire straits? Have you been there lately? I travel to chicago twice a month and I can tell you that it is booming. There are at least 7 skyscrapers being built right now.

Is the government or the private sector building these skyscrapers? The facts point out that Chicago run politics is amok.
