That's because folks actually think Obama is a change.

He may be, but it would be for the worse. And yes, Cali, despite your whining about it, I do know what socialism is.

But apparently you would insult an engineer by calling him a physicist.

We'll have to consult Babs on this, but I would think physicist would rank slightly higher on the sexiness scale, due to the contemplative, deep-thought nature of it all. Engineers are to physicists what CPAs are to economists (my major). Of course, all are degrees of magnitude sexier than those nerdy attorneys...

Nope. Engineers all the way. I like a man who knows the value of practical application of mechanical theory.

What does your husband do? I've noticed you've not taken the opportunity here to describe him in heroic terms, in every 3rd post.

Flesh Gordon needs no heroic intro. His work speeks for itself.

Based on the numbers, it's looking like the increasing focus on and concern over the economy is hurting McCain. It's not that Romney really *is* some kind of macroeconomic genius...but he doesn't need to be one. There's a perception out there that he's knowledgeable and experienced in the financial arena. And McCain could really use that kind of credibility right now.
who his Secretary of Treasure would be. If it's Romney, so be it. And have the SOT to be address what a McCain administration would do. Brilliant idea........don't ya think?

I've come to the point where I officially hate the Palin pick. She's simply out of her league. McCain is still getting my vote, but I resent the hell out of him for making us have to listen to and defend somebody less articulate than GWB. Wouldn't it be nice to one day have a Republican who doesn't stumble over their words and can effectively answer a question? Katie Couric tripped her up. Katie Couric!
