I am not afraid to say that I really enjoyed Hitch, and there is probably a couple of others but I can't think of them right now.

These are the only romantic comedies I could think of:
1. As Good as it Gets 2. There's Something About Mary 3. High Fidelity 4. Meet the Parents 5. The Wedding Singer Notice that Hugh Grant and Meg Ryan do not appear on my list. For those of you that enjoy those prissy Hugh Grant movies like Notting Hill, Love Actually, Bridget Jones, etc., I just want to say that there is a fine line between being sensitive and being a pussy.

I also really like High Fidelity but I stop short of calling it a romantic comedy.

High Fidelity wasn't a very good film ... Serendipity was a much better, or if you really like Cusak then Say Anything is an even better film than Serendipity. As far as you other comment is concerned ... is your derogatory comment actually 'insert crude name for a cat here' envy  |

I'm not sure "As Good As It Gets" can be called a chick flick,,,but it is a very funny movie at any rate.
I can stand chick flicks so long as they are well done, so here are my top 5 as it were, and in no particular order. 1. The Notebook 2. Hitch 3. Notting Hill 4. 2 Weeks Notice 5. Somethings Gotta Give That's all I can think of right now. |
