So, if I don't support Palin, I "never take a position." If do support Palin, I'm a "partisan hack."

I think the only reason you post on this site is to hear the sound of your own brilliance.

I didn't want to get into the variations on evangelical denominations the other day, but hers is particularly, um, special (which is, of course, all a matter of perspective). They speak in tongues as evidence of the gift of the Spirit, and they perform healings during services. I've had a couple of them even offer to heal my son from his chromosomal deletion.

I am guessing that SU is feeling more than a little angst regarding Sister Palin as time goes on. It will be fun to watch him spin this.

Is this scary?

Quote:
A confident Barack Obama raised an extraordinary $7.8 million Sunday at three California fundraisers, most of it in large checks to a Democratic Party committee.

“I will win. Don’t worry about that,” he said to the crowd of about 1,300 at his third event of the evening, according to the pool report.

He was warmly received by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who called him "a leader that God has blessed us with at this time."

So far, here is what we know about Palin:

She admits to not following Iraq

She doesn't know what the VP does

She was almost recalled for a firing scandal as mayor

She is engaged in another firing scandal as governor

The President of the Alaskan Senate (a Republican) says she isn't ready to be governor, let alone VP

She favors secession for Alaska (even recorded the keynote speach for the Alaskan secession party THIS YEAR!

Intrade has now started a betting line as to whether or not she will still be on the ticket in November. Traders are currently giving her about a 20% chance of dropping out.
Yep, Cali is nervous about McCain's choice of Palin.

You're clucking like a hen that sees the fox outside the pen.

I was going to suggest that indeed we actually are worried about Palin...worried that the publicity is going to get so bad that McCain will dump her for an actual, you know, force to be reckoned with.

McCain cancelled a CNN interview. Maybe this has something to do with it:
