Default Women's College World Series

Of all the women's sports, softball is far and away the most fun to watch, actually it's the only one I can watch. I actually enjoy it. My only complaint is that the infield seems so small. They need to lengthen the base paths just a bit.

The base paths are the correct distance based on the speed of the game. If they were any further apart, every ground ball would be an out, assuming the infielders don't boot any balls. (No pun intended)

Of course, if the pitching mound was moved back as well, that would work, but the reason that women's softball is watchable is because of it speed. Any further distances would slow the game down.

haha, classic.

Girls softball is fun to watch. I'll take it over a lot of sports. Pitcher has a little bit too much of an advantage, though.

I know the former coach of A&M softball team. But since he is gone, I feel free to root against them.

Did anyone see John Kruk get worked by the softball pitcher on ESPN the other day? That was some pretty good humor...he wasn't even coming close to hitting that ball!

The problem I have is that pitching is way to dominant. 1-0 is a high scoring game. I also think the infield is a tad to small, every ground ball is a bang-bang play.
